EFT Consultations/Supervision/CPD

As an ICEEFT certified EFT therapist and supervisor and in addition to my clinical work, I supervise EFT therapists and graduate trainees in person, groups and via Skype.

I offer guidance and coaching through the formal EFT application and certification process to advanced EFT students and can provide specific examples of successful submissions, feedback on your work and support.

I lead EFT Continuous Professional Development groups and Advanced Externship training as Option 1 route to EFT Certification.

I am the first EFT therapist and supervisor in the UK certified by ICEEFT, and one of only three certified EFT supervisors/consultants in the country for the time being.

Please, enquire about individual EFT consultations/supervision,
groups and CPD costs.

• Attention paid to the following (flexible structure of the meetings):
- 1st hour devoted to dilemmas and stuck places, any EFT 'ah-ha' moments, with some didactic material in step-by-step approach (as the model itself unfolds in therapy).

- 3rd hour - role play on the basis of clients' material or dilemmas
• In-session use of DVD clips of Sue Johnson’s, Gail Palmer’s, Rebecca Jorgensen’s couple sessions with subsequent discussion.
• Relevant articles, useful forms, presentations relevant to the topics under discussion.

EFT Movie Club & Skills Lab - Schedule to be determined
Led by Gulya Diyarova, ICEEFT Certified EFT therapist and supervisor
November 2018 to July 2019 bi-monthly

How we learn EFT?
•Reading books
•Attending EFT Externship, Core Skills, EFT Workshops – and Annual EFT International Summer School!
•EFT Supervision – Groups and Individual

Have Been There… Done That…And Keep Going…

As EFT is first and foremost an Experiential model, from experience and feedback, most of us learn the approach not so much from books and lectures but by “TELL, SHOW and DO” way.

That is what we will privilege and use in the Group!

What will we be doing at EFT Movie Club & Skills Lab?

Watching together EFT Experts conducting their Live sessions
•Observing and noticing interventions,
•“Unpacking” finer moments of their interaction with couples,
•Pausing at frequent intervals to discuss and reflect,
•See how it resonates with us, where it “lands” within,
•What it evokes inside and how we might respond in our “Self-of the-Therapist’ awareness.

Training videos of Live sessions with Sue Johnson, Marlene Best, Gail Palmer, Brent Bradley, Rebecca Jorgensen, Scott Woolley will be shown (including some tapes not available for distribution), starting from Stage 1 and following deeper into the model.

Selected tapes:
•Shaping Secure Connection – “Classic” EFT Stage One exquisite and
precise work with Sue Johnson
•How De-escalation Looks like, moving to Step 3 – Live Session with
Gail Palmer or Scott Woolley (at CS in London, unpublished)
•EFT in Action with Sue Johnson – How to handle Escalated couple and deal
with reactivity errupting in the room (including a prior session with their original therapist)
•Withdrawer Re-Engagement – Sue Johnson guiding a withdrawn partner
into reaching for the other one and creating a positive bonding event.
•Risking, Reaching and Responding – Withdrawer Reengagement and
Pursuer Softening Change Events with Gail Palmer.
•And/Or Shaping Connection tape, Part two Pursuer Softening with
Marlene Best, doing beautiful and sensitive work with a trauma couple,
gently bringing them to stage 2 enactments to restructure the bond.

Some other tapes (time and schedule permitting).

In the 2nd part of our sessions we will “try on”, practice and hone in Role Plays the interventions we have just watched and discussed – amongst other various things:

•Safety First - In Escalation and constantly at every moment of the session
•Reactivity – Contain, Challenge and Control, learn how to put it to good use
in the session
•Cycle – Recognising it in the Session, Tracking, Focusing, Validating,
Reflecting, Summarising and Giving it back to the couple
•Emotions – Cues, Entry points into experience, Reflect, Validate, Deepen, Enact
•Enactments – Tango moves, different types of Enactments, 3Bs (Blocks/Balks
and Bullets)

And Much-Much More…

Your comments, reflections, and questions will be encouraged and most welcome!
